Chakotah of CCR Suris

Co owned with Sur-Real Alpacas and Bill Rogers

Chakotah cria win second place ribbon Get of Sire at 2010 AOBA Nationals behind Pucara Kahuna

Chakotah has now not only dominated in the show ring winning Championships, amongst others, at the Nationals and Futurity but his first cria are also winning championships in only their first year showing.

This fabulous male is the product of joining Pucara Kalina with Moon River's Peruvian Durango who is now residing in Australia. We think Durango was a huge loss to the US industry. The dam Pucara Kalina is one of the best Kahuna daughters that we ever produced. She was purchased by CCR Suris in Michigan by the Rogers. The dam Kalina has the superb genetic mix which makes our best, Pucara Allegro and Pucara Kahuna.

Chakotah's performance of course in the show ring has been exemplorary under very good suri judges. He exhibits extreme greasy luster, super silky handle, density in thick well defined locks from one end of his sturdy frame to the other and fineness. All with a proud masculine head on a well balanced body.

Was this to be expected from the intitial breeding. We hoped so because it was the marriage of genetics from Peruvian Bruxo, Peruvian Uribe, Peruvian Augustina (McGyver's mom), Pperuvian Amador and Peruvian Cadete (Accoyo foundation herdsires of our female herd), Pucara Kahuna and Pucara Allegro who had 37 championship winning cria in Australia of which 17 won Best in Show! The odds were stacked in our favor and are now stacked in yours because there is little room for deviation of outcome with this punch of prepotence. If you have a good female you'll get a great cria with this breeding.

In 2010 the Chakotah kids in our show team are wowing them all over the country. They have won championships in strong company and we have not even bred him yet to our best dams!!! We think he is going to be every bit as good if not better than his grandfather Kahuna! The show kids have won championships in both color and light/white. Chakotah has also won two third place Get ribbons, plus second at the AOBA Nationals behind Pucara Kahuna. That is in only his first year of his cria being shown!!!!

Baron's Concerto In White AAP&P

Sire: Pperuvian Baron G4580

Dam: Camilla

D.O.B. April 11, 2002

Time to get back to basics.  Concerto In White ("Connie") is a wholly-owned 3/4 Peruvian, 3/4 Accoyo son of Pperuvian Baron - "The Sire Of The Century". He is all white with tight, well-defined locks and incredible luster for which he has been cited at numerous shows. In 2003 he finished 1st or 2nd at every regular show he entered, and finished 5th in his extremely strong yearling class of 15 at the AOBA Nationals. In 2004 his fleece won every show entered, and earned a 4th at the Nationals. His greatest show ring accomplishment came at the 2003 Great Western in Denver where he took first in his class followed by Reserve Color Champion, and, to top things off, 1st in Yearling Bred & Owned. He did this under 2 different judges at the same show.

When making breeding decisions, consider this: Connie has the ability to produce color when bred to color, and will go back generationally to produce color when bred to white dams who are the offspring of colored sires! The lock and luster of his crias is exceptional. His offspring Aureo Rising and Opus No. 3 share his impressive show credentials, particularly in fleece shows where they consistently win their classes and have won many Best Luster and Judge's Choice ribbons. His 2010 cria, Anniversary Waltz ("Annie") is even more spectacular.  He is proof of the F2 genetic principle - his kids are Baron's grandkids, and they are incredible!  These genetics are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain, with the aging import population.  Connie is still strong, virile, and active.  We invite you to grab a piece of history.

His show record:

2002-2003: HART - 2nd; Sun City Sizzle - 2nd; Houston Livestock & Rodeo - 1st; TxOLAN Spectacular - 1st/Color Champion; Great Western (Denver) - 1st/Reserve Color Champion and 1st Yearling Bred & Owned; AOBA Nationals - 5th ("Best Luster in Class" - Susan Tellez) and 4th Yearling Bred & Owned.

2004: Houston Livestock, fleece - 1st/Color Champion; MOPACA, fleece - 1st; Great Western, fleece - 1st/Best Luster; AOBA Nationals - 4th.

2005: TxOLAN Alpaca Spectacular, fleece - 1st;Houston Livestock - 1st/Light Suri Fleece Champion;MOPACA, fleece - 1st;Great Western, fleece - 1st; AOBA Nationals, fleece - 2nd.

Valedara’s Accoyo Calisto

DOB: 6/28/03
ARI
: 851694
Color: White
Sire:  Pperuvian Caligula G4572 | 123067 | WH
Dam: Victor’s Valedara | 822153 | WH
Pedigree: Full Peruvian

People talk about their herdsires having impact genetics....You can't get stronger impact than Calisto!  Caligula, Victor and Hemingway, that's what I call the herdsire hall of fame! Calisto’s great-granddam, Pperuvian Sara, was the number 2 pick in her importation out of 450 females.  Sara was, and still is, the cornerstone of the Timberland Alpacas breeding program in Oregon.  Pperuvian Sara is considered to be as strong of a genetic line as Caligula, Hemingway or Victor.  Calisto is the true meaning of HEMIACCOYO!

Calisto is a very dense, fine and elite fleeced herdsire that improves all of the females he breeds.  His fiber has wonderful luster and an excellent staple length that the Victor line is known for. He will certainly produce show winners and, in fact, already has!  One of his sons, Sip of Starbucks, is a multiple blue ribbon winner in some very tough west coast shows. When bred to colored dams, Calisto has let the color pass through to his offspring.

Now is the time to add these impressive genetics to your herd!

Co-owned by Chisholm Trail Alpacas of Guthrie, OK and Elite Alpaca Ranch of Piedmont, OK.

The Peruvian Knight

Standing above other herdsires, The Peruvian Knight exhibits superior fiber characteristics (fineness, excellent density, superior brightness and uniformity) that he has maintained well into his breeding years.  And, best of all, he is passing these same characteristics on to his progeny who are winning blue ribbons and color championships in the show ring.

Jim Watts on the Peruvian Knight:
"The Peruvian Knight has very fine primary fibres and fine to very fine secondary fibres.  The difference in diameter between the primary fibres and the secondary fibres is very narrow and the secondary fibres are almost free of medullation."

The Peruvian Knight is a fine-fleeced, medium fawn, half Accoyo.  His dam, Accoyo Dona is from full Accoyo Amadeus, the first  Accoyo imported to
Germany.  His sire is the well known 5Peruvian Camelot, an Allianza import from the Macusani region in Peru

Dundee's Katmandu

After getting beaten in the ring multiple times by Katmandu...he got our attention and we just had to bring him home! As Dundee Farm said, "Not very often do you see a male of this caliber and pedigree for sale!" As we looked closely, we found him to have the exceptional shine we love so much as well as awesome density and staple length with fineness, bold consistent crimp, AND multi-generations of powerful black.

We continue to be surprised by how fine and dense he’s remained. He started in year 1 at 18.8 microns and his 3rd year was still just 19.9 AFD, 4.5 CV, 22.6 SD, 2.9% over 30 WOW.  His 4th year fleece graded a WR2!

A 2x Black Champion Othello daughter bred to 4x Champion The Reverend Mr. Black to produce Katmandu and he took a Reserve Championship over 40 other black males in his first show.  He went on to win much more in his career and now has multiple Blue & Red ribbon winning cria in the Fall juvi classes.

If you breed for black or grey, take a close look at this guy.
